Do you ever find yourself bitter with God because others aren’t receiving the justice you think they deserve? Do you every find yourself holding God in judgment for the way things are? Finding our identity in the wrong things keeps us from seeing God’s perspective and hinders us from extending God’s compassion to others. Today we’ll look at the book of Jonah which illustrates how God’s compassion pursues us when we are running from Him—when we are lost in false identities and broken perspectives.
